Hello to all. Good luck to this new site. I am from San Francisco
USA and have visited Thailand twice a year, April for Songran and
November since 1998. I love Thailand, the culture, and people. I'm
55 and hope to retire next year to Thailand.

I am very happy to see another Songkran Fan. I love Songkran too. I live in Thailand and so many foreigners hate Songkran. Many leave Thailand and go somewhere else during Songkran. Many hole up in their condos until it is over. But not me. I enjoy it and have a lot of fun. I look forward to it every year.

Best of luck with your plans to retire to Thailand. For me, retiring here is the best thing I have ever done and my only regret is that I couldn't have retired here sooner. If there is anything we can do or any advice we can provide to help you prepare for retirement here, just let us know.

a great site. I can't wait for my trip to Thailand in

When I am away all I can think about is my next trip back. I know how you feel. November is right around the corner!
