My avatar appears beside my posts but does not appear when looking at Today's Top posters.

Just curious if anyone doesn't see my avavtar next to my posts or does see my avatar on the list of the today's top posters?

I'm going to explain it wrong but hope you get it anyway. The avatar is the "thingie" (technical term) that appears to the left of your posts. The front page here has something else - those aren't avatars there but called something else (maybe a photo or whatever....check your settings box and I suppose there's no reason that you can't make your photo and your avatar the same).

Bob is correct. Got to MY SETTINGS. Then select PROFILE. You will see one option to change your avatar and another to change your photo. Whatever you select as your photo will be what appears in today's top posters. It can be the same photo that you use for an avatar.

I'm wondering why I can't see my avatar beside my posts. I can see in my log-in details and in the top posters ???

Edit update - scratch that, now that I posted this the avatar slooowly reappeared.

Finally got my Photo sorted out.
