Lvdkeyes, your recipes are always the best ever! Now I have a challenge for you. Although I've never tried it, everything I read that people post about ostrich meat makes it sound as if it is very good. I see ostrich meat sold in some of the grocery stores, but I have no idea how to cook it. If you were going to make ostrich meat, how would you do it and what would be your recipe?

I have never tasted ostrich meat, but from what I understand you cook it much the same as beef, but do not overcook it since it has little fat and will dry out fast.

I had an ostrich steak at the Petite Planet on Soi Day/Nite 2 and it was delicious. It is not a regular menu item, but if you give the owner/chef a day notice he will serve you a mouth watering meal. Mine was served rare and was like a filet mignon. The chef is a very friendly fellow and may give you a few pointers on how to cook one on your own.
