Anyone traveling to Thailand would be remiss if they didn't visit a ladyboy bar IMO.

Lots of options but in the Pattaya area the bar I'd recommend for the curious in Sally's on Soi 5 in Jomtien, not far from Immigration.

It's a laid back bar with both ladyboys and genetic girls. Good music at the proper volume, a free pool table, the right vibe, and low prices.

I hate to rain on your parade, but what is so great about a ladyboy bar? How would an average traveler to Thailand be remiss if they did not visit one of these bars?

Lots of people go to the Tiffany and Alcazar shows.

Although transgenders inhabit the entire planet, the ladyboy scene is somewhat unique to Thailand. I think Aunt Mildred would enjoy buying a drink for a ladyboy and taking pictures if she knew where to go.

I know my Aunt Mildred would have no interest in a ladyboy bar. Who needs to go to a ladyboy bar to see katoeys, because in Thailand, they seem to be everywhere.
