If I take coffee out of the bag and put it in a glass coffee container, I can put that in the freezer, right? Or will the glass crack?

It depends on the kind of glass. I just put the bag the coffee comes in into a Ziplock bag and into the freezer. For one thing the Ziplock takes up less room that a glass container.

The blue mountain brand of Moccona coffee I bought at tops was already ground and in a vacuum sealed package. I think it is as good as the beans you grind in the store.
