Some of the embassies in Thailand are now lifting their travel warnings about Thailand. Thailand is now a safe travel destination, but many medical insurance companies will not pay if something happens while you are traveling in a country in which travel warnings are in effect. For that reason you might want to check with your embassy prior to traveling to Thailand.
