In Thailand the banks all close on 1 July every year. It is a bank holiday, not a national holiday. Everything except for banks will be open, although it may be a little difficult to get change in many places. ATMs will be functioning. The mini-branches, usually located in shopping centers, will be open and can conduct most banking activities. However, since main branch offices will be closed, expect a long waiting time at mini-branches.
